FAQs
Luxe Elite Transportation — Frequently Asked Questions
Wine tours, airport transfers, group sizes, licensing, and how far ahead to book. If your question isn't here, dispatch answers 24/7 at (657) 325-5120.
How do I book a car with Luxe Elite Transportation?
Reserve online in about a minute — enter your pickup, destination or itinerary, choose a vehicle class, and confirm. You can also call dispatch at (657) 325-5120, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will get an emailed confirmation, and for wine tours or multi-stop days our team will build the itinerary with you rather than leaving you to guess at the timings.
Which airport should I fly into for Orange County?
It depends on where you are staying, not just where you are flying from. LAX has the most long-haul options and is the default for most visitors. SNA — John Wayne, Orange County's own airport — is the closest option for most of the county and is often worth the connection. LGB (Long Beach) and BUR (Hollywood Burbank) are quieter alternatives worth considering for LA-area travel. We run flight-tracked transfers from all four.
How are wine tours priced compared with airport transfers?
Two different structures, because they are two different days. Airport transfers are flat-rate and all-inclusive — tolls, fuel, and standard wait time are already in the number you are quoted before you fly, with no surge and no meter. Wine tours are hourly with a daily minimum, because tastings run long, lunch runs longer, and a fixed price would either shortchange you or pad the quote. Tasting fees are paid directly to the wineries; we never mark them up.
How many wineries can we visit in one day?
Three is comfortable, four is doable if they are clustered, and five is usually a mistake. A tasting runs sixty to ninety minutes once you count the walk-up and the checkout, and lunch in wine country is not a fast affair. The Temecula Valley estates sit close together along Rancho California Road, so four is realistic there. We would rather talk you down to three good stops than run you through five you will not remember.
Do you book the winery appointments for us?
Most Temecula Valley wineries take walk-ins, but the sought-after estates and weekend tasting slots fill up and are worth booking in your own name ahead of time. What we do is take your confirmed list and sequence it into a day that actually works, flagging any timing that will not hold. If you are starting from scratch, tell us the kind of day you want and we will suggest a plan worth building it around.
What group sizes and vehicles can Luxe Elite Transportation handle?
Anything from a solo traveler to a group of ten in a single vehicle. Our fleet is four classes: a Luxury Sedan (up to 3 passengers), a Luxury SUV — a Chevrolet Suburban (up to 6), our flagship Executive SUV — a Cadillac Escalade ESV (up to 6, our most-booked vehicle), and a Luxury Sprinter Van — a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (up to 10, with 14 bags of luggage room). For larger parties we run several vehicles on one coordinated schedule so everyone arrives together.
Is Luxe Elite Transportation licensed and insured in California?
Yes. Luxe Elite Transportation operates as a licensed and insured California charter-party carrier, with commercial liability insurance on every vehicle and background-checked professional chauffeurs. Certificates are available on request for corporate and procurement teams.
How far in advance should we book during peak season?
Weekend wine-tour days, wedding weekends, and holiday travel run near capacity and the good vehicles go first — book as far ahead as you reasonably can. The same applies to early-morning airport departures. Outside those windows a day's notice is usually plenty. Last-minute requests are always worth a call to dispatch rather than an assumption; we can often cover them.
What is your cancellation and change policy?
Cancellations made at least 24 hours before pickup are fully refundable. Later cancellations may incur a fee based on the vehicle reserved. You can also modify a booking — add a stop, resequence a tasting itinerary, change vehicle class, or move the pickup time — by contacting our 24/7 dispatch team, ideally a few hours ahead so your chauffeur and vehicle are staged correctly. Weddings, corporate offsites, and multi-vehicle charters carry separate deposit terms, confirmed in writing when you book.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Irvine, in the center of Orange County, which is why cross-county trips are routine for us. That covers Orange County (Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Tustin, Anaheim, Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, San Juan Capistrano, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, Fullerton, Buena Park, La Habra, and Placentia), plus Long Beach and San Diego, with airport service to LAX, SNA, LGB, and BUR.
